Busy?

I've been quite busy today. Well, busy as far as working in this library gets! I'd saved up a bit of work for today, and because Kerrianne is away I get some of her work too as well as sole responsibility for the issue desk and there are plenty of students around as they have exams on Saturday.

Yesterday and the day before I was in a really happy hyper mood. I've calmed down now, which is a bit of a shame as it was fun, but I'm feeling nice and mellow at the moment.

I'd been spending far too much time on the Spaced-Out forum and tried to wean myself off it this last week. I went on there for a bit yesterday and realised that I'd been too successful in my attempt to no longer be addicted to posting on there - I felt a bit out of the loop and like no one had really missed me, so I think I'll just lurk there a bit more occasionally now. That is until I get really bored at work again and need the stimiulation.

Yesterday I spent my time learning a bit about religion. It turns out that I am a pantheist, rather than an atheist, which pleases me as I've always felt quite spiritual but not at all religious. Quite independently of finding out that, I looked into most major religions to decide which one actually most appeals to me and which I would choose if forced - and taoism came out top. Thankfully taoism and pantheism go pretty much hand in hand, so that's lucky isn't it?

Mum and Dad are in Lanzarote now for 2 weeks. Mum phoned the other night and they like the place, so they are going to have a much better holiday than their last cheapy holiday in the sun in Minorca when they were surrounded by lots of horrible people.

I was thinking through what I've got planned for the next few months and I really have very few weekends free - it's great as it will make the time go quickly and before I know it we will be hearing about Canada!

this weekend I am working, next weekend we are going to see G's gran and grandpa in seaton, the following weekend we're going to Paris for a week. The weekend after we get back I'm working again, then it's my birthday long weekend in Cornwall, then the bank holiday, then Matt and Sharon's stag/hen party, then nothing for 3 weeks but am currently in the process of arranging a long weekend holiday with Alex, Clare and Chisler and also a weekend up north to see Ade and Sheila. In July there's Matt's wedding, hopefully the British GP, and Jools Holland at Westonbirt Arboretum with a weekend in Cheltenham. In August we've got our photograph session, and a big family party, then off to Canada for 3 weeks!

If we're lucky enough to sell the house, I'm not sure when we're going to find the time to actually move out!
